About us

MOVE Exercise Physiology provides mobile, evidence-based exercise physiology services across Perth, delivering care in homes, workplaces, leisure centres and community settings.

Services are personalised and developed in collaboration with each individual’s goals, needs and real-world environment, using movement as medicine to support function, independence and quality of life.

At the core of MOVE is the belief that everyone has a right to access and benefit from movement. Care is designed to be accessible, adaptable and meaningful, meeting people where they are.

What is an Exercise Physiologist?

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-qualified allied health professional who helps people use exercise safely and effectively to improve health, function and quality of life. In Australia, AEPs are the most highly trained professionals in exercise prescription, working with people who have chronic, complex or medical conditions.

Similar to how a doctor diagnoses and a pharmacist delivers medication, AEPs take a diagnosis or referral and turn it into a personalised exercise plan that supports individual goals, capacity and long-term wellbeing.
